Do you allow pets?
Sorry no. We do not allow
any pets (even well behaved ones!) to Sunnyside Cottages. For
the convenience and comfort of all our guests we implement a strict
no pets policy.
Do we need to bring our own bed-linen and towels?
No
need. We provide duvets, bed-linen, blankets, towels and tea
towels. We do ask if you want to go swimming or to the beach
that guests bring their own towels, as we request that the towels
supplied are not to be removed from the cottages.
Where
can we do our shopping?
Caernarfon is the nearest shopping town and
includes Morrisons, Tesco, Iceland and many small independent
shops. For convenience you can order your groceries
online before your holiday starts and have them delivered to your
cottage for your arrival. Tesco and Iceland in Caernarfon offer this
facilitiy.
Are there
any banks nearby?
Nearly all the main banks are represented in Caernarfon,
approximately 6 miles (15 minutes drive) from Sunnyside Cottages.
Is
there any public transport in the area?
Dinas Dinlle is served by a
regular bus service to Caernarfon, the bus passes the top of our lane.
From Caernarfon other connections can be made, the nearest train station
is situated in Bangor.
Do you accept debit and credit cards?
Sorry
- At the present time we do not accept debit or credit cards.
How
much deposit do you require to secure a booking and when do we need
to pay the full balance?
We ask for a deposit of 25% of the total
weekly cottage rental (minimum £80.00) to secure a holiday booking.
The full and final balance of a holiday booking must be paid for 8
weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. We strongly recommend that
all guests take out holiday insurance to safeguard against unforeseen
circumstances. Several of our guests have used Guest
First Holiday Insurance and we can recommend them with confidence.
What time can we check-in to our cottage and what time
do we need to check-out of our cottage?
Your cottage will be ready
for occupation at 4pm on the day of arrival. We ask
all guests to vacant the cottages at 10am on the day of departure.
It may be possible to arrange a later check-out time but this has
to be arranged in advanced.
Can you supply
a cot and highchair?
We can supply a variety of high quality baby equipment
for the duration of your stay, including travel cots, highchairs, baths,
baby bedding and bed-guards - at no extra cost. All we
ask is that you request the equipment on booking.
Do you have
any facilities to store our bikes while we are on holiday?
We
have a garage situated adjacent to Sunnyside Cottages where you are
welcome (by prior arrangement) to store your bicycles/motorbikes/small
boats etc.
Do we have to pay extra for gas and electricity?
No!!
All gas, electricity and water are included in the price. You
just pay the weekly cottage rental stated on the tariffs page.
