several National Trust properties and there are castles galore.
The
World Heritage Site of Caernarfon Castle is just 6 miles away from Sunnyside
Cottages, and is possibly the most famous castle in Britain. In 1969 it gained
worldwide fame as the setting for the investiture of HRH Prince Charles as the
Prince of Wales. Port Meirion, the Italianate village designed by the renowned
architect Clough Williams-Ellis, and the location of the 1960's TV serial 'The
Prisoner', is only 25 minutes away from Sunnyside
